slowczech Lab terms of service

Welcome to slowczech Lab, where we are dedicated to providing you with quality language learning resources. By subscribing to our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Subscription Fee and Renewal

The subscription fee for our Service is 500 CZK per month. This fee is due monthly on the same day of the month that you initially subscribed and will be automatically charged to your payment method on file.

To avoid automatic renewal and the associated charge, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. Please see the ‘Cancellation and Refund Policy’ clause for instructions on how to cancel.

The subscription will renew automatically on the same day of the month that you initially subscribed. If you do not wish to renew your subscription, please notify us as described in the Cancellation Policy clause.

To facilitate automatic payments, valid payment details must be stored with the Stripe payment gateway service and the WooCommerce e-shop service. We don’t see your bank and personal details. Members are responsible for regularly updating and ensuring the accuracy of card details.

Services Provided

Your subscription includes access to the following premium resources:

Premium Media Content: Subscribers will have unlimited access to our collection of premium audio and video content tailored for Czech learning.
Community Interaction: Subscribers can join our exclusive Discord server to interact with fellow learners and Czech tutors.
Group Lessons: Subscribers may attend up to 2 online group lessons each month. Scheduling of these lessons is at the discretion of the tutors.

Limitation of Tutor Assistance

Tutors’ roles are to facilitate communication among participants, answer general questions, and provide basic assistance. This support is supplementary and is not intended to replace comprehensive personal tutoring or professional advice. The scope and extent of assistance are subject to the discretion of both the tutor and the service provider.

Any misuse or excessive demands on tutors may result in a warning or, in severe cases, termination of subscription without refund.

Scheduling of Online Group Lessons

The scheduling of the group lessons is at the sole discretion of the tutors and the service provider. We value the input and feedback of our subscribers and will consider such communications when determining lesson times. Subscribers are encouraged to provide their preferences and suggestions in the designated channel on our Discord server, which we will take into account to the extent possible when organizing lesson schedules.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Subscribers have the right to cancel their subscription and request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase, provided they have not logged into any group lessons. Logging into a group lesson, even without active participation, within this 14-day period will forfeit the subscriber’s right to a refund.

Group lessons are conducted on third-party video conferencing platforms. Logging into the lesson, either in full or in part, through audio and video, constitutes participation.

Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time; however, no refunds will be issued for the remaining period of the subscription once a payment is made.

To cancel, subscribers must use their account dashboard on our website: https://slowczech.com/membership-account/membership-cancel/.

Alternatively, subscribers may request cancellation by sending an email to contact@slowczech.com.

Following a cancellation request, access to subscription services will continue until the end of the 30-day period that follows the last payment. Cancellations will become effective at the end of this period.

Code of Conduct

Subscribers are expected to conduct themselves appropriately when using the Service and interacting with tutors and other subscribers. Harassment, discriminatory remarks, or any other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the subscription without refund.

Limitations of Service and Liability

While we strive to provide the best possible service, slowczech Lab is not liable for any technical issues, including but not limited to, service outages, loss of data, or any other interruptions.

Slowczech Lab is not responsible for the progress or results of any subscriber’s language learning journey.

Privacy and Data Protection

Slowczech Lab respects the privacy of its subscribers. Personal data will only be used in accordance with our privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided as part of the Service, including but not limited to media files, instructional materials, and community contributions, are the intellectual property of the Service or its licensors. This content is for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or used in any other manner.

Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to make changes to the Terms of Service at any time. Subscribers will be notified of any changes via the email address provided upon registration. The timeframe for advance notice is at our discretion. Upon notification of changes to the Terms of Service, subscribers have the option to terminate their subscription before the new terms take effect.

Continued use of the Platform after such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Podmínky služby pro slowczech network

Vítejte ve slowczech network. Nabízíme řadu služeb navržených tak, aby pomohly lektorům češtiny pro cizince v jejich profesním rozvoji. Předplatným našich služeb souhlasíte s následujícími Podmínkami služby.

Předplatné a poplatky

Měsíční poplatek za přístup k naší Platformě je 500 CZK.

Předplatné je splatné měsíčně a není vratné, kromě případů výslovně uvedených v těchto Podmínkách.

Vaše předplatné se automaticky obnoví ve stejný den měsíce, kdy jste se původně registrovali. Pokud si nepřejete obnovit své předplatné, musíte jej zrušit před datem obnovení. Rovněž nás prosím informujte v souladu s naší Politikou zrušení předplatného.

Předplatné je možné kdykoliv zrušit, ale po provedení platby nebudou vyplaceny žádné refundace za zbylou část předplatného období.

Poskytované služby

Vaše předplatné zahrnuje přístup k následujícím zdrojům:

Měsíční workshopy: Přístup k měsíčnímu workshopu s hostujícím řečníkem na témata související s lektorstvím češtiny pro cizince.
Záznamy workshopů: Přístup k videozáznamům všech předchozích workshopů uskutečněných jako součást služby.
Komunitní zapojení: Přístup k našemu privátnímu serveru na Discordu pro interakci s kolegy a nepřetržitý profesní rozvoj.
Affiliate slevy: Přístup k exkluzivním slevám vyjednaným s různými společnostmi, které mohou být prospěšné lektorům češtiny pro cizince.

Politika zrušení a vrácení peněz

Předplatitelé mají právo zrušit své předplatné a požádat o plné vrácení peněz do 14 dnů od počátečního nákupu, za předpokladu, že se nezúčastnili žádného živého workshopu v tomto období. Účast zahrnuje plnou nebo částečnou přítomnost prostřednictvím zvuku a videa na platformách pro videokonference třetích stran.

Pokud se předplatitel zúčastní jakéhokoli živého workshopu během 14denní lhůty pro odstoupení od smlouvy, právo na odstoupení od smlouvy a vrácení peněz je ztraceno.

Předplatitelé mohou kdykoliv zrušit své předplatné prostřednictvím řídicího panelu svého účtu na naší webové stránce: https://slowczech.com/membership-account/membership-cancel/. Alternativně lze žádosti o zrušení zasílat na e-mail contact@slowczech.com. Nicméně, po zrušení předplatného nebudou vráceny peníze za zbývající období předplatného.

Žádosti o zrušení budou zpracovány okamžitě, ale přístup k předplatnému bude pokračovat až do konce 30denního období následujícího po poslední platbě.

Omezení služby a odpovědnosti

Naše Platforma je poskytována na bázi “taková, jaká je” bez jakýchkoli záruk, vyjádřených nebo předpokládaných.

Nezaručujeme dostupnost, spolehlivost ani přesnost obsahu poskytovaného během workshopů nebo na serveru na Discordu.

Nejsme odpovědní za žádné nepřímé, náhodné, zvláštní nebo následné škody vyplývající z používání nebo neschopnosti používání služby.

Předplatitelé jsou vyzváni, aby sdíleli svůj zájem o budoucí témata workshopů nebo řečníky v dedikovaném kanálu na našem serveru na Discordu. Přestože zohledňujeme zpětnou vazbu předplatitelů, konečná rozhodnutí o obsahu workshopů a výběru řečníků zůstávají na našem uvážení.

Spolupracujeme s různými společnostmi, abychom vám poskytli exkluzivní slevy. Nicméně negarantujeme dostupnost ani kontinuitu těchto slev. Nejsme zodpovědní za jakékoli změny nebo zrušení slev nabízených našimi affiliate partnery.

Duševní vlastnictví

Veškerý obsah poskytovaný na Platformě, včetně materiálů z workshopů, videozáznamů a jakékoliv související dokumentace, je majetkem Platformy nebo jejích poskytovatelů licencí a je chráněn autorskými právy.

Předplatitelé mohu tento obsah používat pouze pro osobní a profesní rozvoj a nesmí jej reprodukovat, distribuovat ani vytvářet odvozená díla bez výslovného povolení.

Změny Podmínek služby

Vyhrazujeme si právo kdykoliv změnit Podmínky služby. Předplatitelé budou o všech změnách informováni prostřednictvím e-mailové adresy poskytnuté při registraci. Časový rámec pro předchozí oznámení je na našem uvážení. Po oznámení změn v Podmínkách služby mají předplatitelé možnost ukončit své předplatné před nabytím účinnosti nových podmínek.

Pokračováním v používání Platformy po takových změnách vyjadřujete souhlas s těmito změnami.

Ochrana dat a GDPR

Zavazujeme se chránit vaše soukromí a zajistit, aby vaše osobní údaje byly zpracovávány v souladu s Nařízením o ochraně osobních údajů (GDPR). Vaše osobní údaje budeme zpracovávat a používat pouze tak, jak je popsáno v našich Zásadách ochrany osobních údajů a pro účely, pro které byly shromážděny.
