CZE: Ahoj, jsem Martina a pocházím z Ostravy. Jazykům a vzdělávání se věnuju celý svůj profesní život: v roce 2014 jsem začala učit, pracovala jsem taky jako překladatelka, korektorka a koordinátorka kurzů. V průběhu let jsem si uvědomila, že každý student je jiný a každému funguje jiná metoda. V lekcích mám proto vždycky na paměti důvod, proč za mnou studenti jdou. Někdo už česky mluví, ale chce si udělat pořádek v gramatice. Někdo jiný začíná od nuly a potřebuje hlavně poslouchat. V každém případě v lekcích ráda používám podcasty, videa a obrázky spojené s reálným životem v Česku. Nejvíc mě těší, když se studenti v lekcích dobře baví a jsou pyšní na svůj progres.
EN: Hi, I’m Martina and I come from Ostrava. I’ve been working in languages and education for my entire professional life: I started teaching in 2014 and also worked as a translator, proofreader, and course coordinator. Over the years, I’ve realized that every student is different and each one responds to a different method. That’s why I always keep in mind the reason why students come to me during lessons. Some already speak Czech but want to tidy up their grammar, while others are starting from scratch and need to focus on listening. In any case, I like to use podcasts, videos, and images that are connected to real life in the Czech Republic. What makes me the happiest is when students have fun during lessons and are proud of their progress.
