(150***) Krušné hory – plurál (nominative a accusative)

Ahoj!

SLOVÍČKA: těžit / cín + měď  / nádherné  / 4 roční období  /  nadmořská výška / cyklostezky a pěší trasy  /  mokřiny a bažiny

A teď už všechno víš.

Ruda, to znamená například drahé kameny a minerály. Také cizí názvy Krušných hor mají stejnou logiku: německy říkáme “Erzgebirge”, kdy slovo “Erz” znamená ruda. A anglicky “Ore mountains”, kdy opět slovo “ore” znamená ruda.

Z rozhleden můžeš vidět vysoké skály, menší skalky, mokřiny a bažiny.

V zimě, když vyjedeš nahoru do hor, uvidíš zasněžené domy a chalupy, uvidíš taky zasněžené stromy, široké bílé pláně, zafoukané silnice

V létě můžeme vidět nádherné květiny – hlavně pampelišky, divizny a náprstníky.

(*1) I would like to explain more in details what this verb KRUŠIT means. However, in simple Czech is not simple 🙂 Hereafter the explanation of the galleries manager  nd former miner Ivan Cader. Btw, if you want to visit those galleries two, Marie Pomocné a Země zaslíbená, contact Ivan Cader.

Poté šli dělat do jiné části dolu.

[EN]  This method called KRUŠENÍ (and verb “krušit”) consist in making fire next to the rock you want to mine. The rock will crack due to the high temperature and its easier to work with. So, the miners brought a lot of woods to the final part of the gallery (called “čelba”), opened the 2 chimneys (= air shafts) and made the fire. The air arrived by one air shaft to the fire, and left by the second air shaft. When the fire was burning, miners worked in another part of the mine. After the rock cracking, fire burning out, they came back and started to work with this mined rock. This working way is called KRUŠIT.

business, mother, polyglote

I am slowczech founder and from my experience I know two things: beginners can understand words with time. And enjoyable input is vital for natural language acquisition. Many give up Czech due to old methods, irrelevant vocabulary or overwhelming grammar. Let’s change that and make learning Czech exciting and effective.
